Game Content Checklist

Here follows a list of common feedback notes related to game content product submissions.

Addons Only

  • If a Page is named “Start” in your game, that page will be overwritten by a Roll20 game's default "Start" page. Name your landing page anything other than "Start."
  • All Journal Handouts should be contained in one top-level Folder as Addon content is most often added to existing games with their own folder structure.

Modules Only

  • The banner image of a base game’s Game Details page should be a landscape image of 750 px wide by 350 px high.

Both Addons and Modules

  • PDFs do not modulize/addonize. PDFs should be removed from the game and relevant info turned into Journal Handouts.
  • Always include a Credits handout and any required Licensing acknowledgement.
  • Check for broken images in your maps, tokens, handouts, etc. before submitting it for approval.
  • Ensure your Journal Handout text is readable in Dark Mode.
  • No 1st party art from official Roll20 compendiums, such as D&D, may be used in Marketplace products. This art must be removed/replaced from the Portrait (Avatar), Default Token, and Bio & Info sections of Character Sheets. For more information, see Marketplace Quality Requirements.

Important Note

DO NOT copy your base campaign for one Addon product as a template for another Addon product. This results in overwriting when those two Addons are added to the same game. The only fix is a complete re-do of a game.
